In connection with the sale of batteries and accumulators or with the delivery of devices that contain batteries and accumulators, we are obliged to point out the following in accordance with the Battery Ordinance:
Batteries and rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries and accumulators as end consumers. You can return batteries and rechargeable batteries free of charge after use at the point of sale or in their immediate vicinity (e.g. at a municipal collection point or in the trade). You can also send batteries and rechargeable batteries back to us freely by post.
Batteries and accumulators that contain pollutants are marked with the symbol of a crossed out garbage can.
The chemical name of the pollutant is located near the garbage can symbol. Cd stands for cadmium, Pb for lead and Hg for mercury.
